Compagnie Léa Nature
Ekibio joined Compagnie Léa Nature, a village of French SMEs in the organic sector.
The holding company “Compagnie Léa Nature” was created in 2009 by Charles Kloboukoff and is the leading independent French company that offers organic and natural products, with a presence across several regions.
Compagnie Léa Nature is focussed on partnerships and ecological and social cooperation. As a company, we strive to protect biodiversity and the wealth of nature, through our economic commitments and our policy to support associations and to therefore restore an honourable place for the company in society.
“Our respective modestly-sized companies share our values and our philosophy. We work to develop top-quality organic farming, by focussing on local production, and supporting our partnerships through long-term commitment. Wherever possible, we promote fair-trade partnerships with producers and responsible trade.”

A VILLAGE OF ORGANIC SMES // ORGANISED INTO BUSINESS UNITS
Compagnie Léa Nature includes 27 brands of organic and natural products, across 4 fields: healthy food products, health, Hygiene-Beauty and household products.
THE LEA EKIBIO DIVISION: ORGANIC CEREALS MEALS STORES
This division operates alongside organic farmers, promoting French products and diversity in organic plant-based products. With this in mind, farming partnerships are operated thanks to a strong focus on innovation, coupled with 100% organic industrial tools. The division is driven by the expertise of two historic brands: Ekibio and Alpha Nutrition.
The division also includes two international distribution platforms, one in Belgium and the other in Spain, and has offices in Miami, Léa Ekibio Inc., to distribute its brands across the American continent.
EKIBIO, THE EXPERTISE OF A FRENCH MANUFACTURER ABOVE ALL ELSE
Our strong culture of innovation, coupled with our expertise as a 100% organic manufacturer means we can offer consumers creative and tasty products that are entirely made in France. Ekibio is the manufacturer of the highly popular crispbread by Le Pain des Fleurs, the second most purchased product from organic stores in 2019*, and with the support from its breadmaking production unit, has been able to develop unique expertise in extruding cereals.
In 2020, we added the creation of Wonder Grains to our manufacturing expertise, a brand-new production unit devoted to pre-cooking cereals, to satisfy our customers’ demands for products that are both creative and quick to cook.
In managing the transformation, production and packaging of our products, we can guarantee traceability, create regional employment and safeguard local expertise.

EKIBIO, AN INTERNATIONAL BRAND
Because the development of organic food products is something that exceeds beyond the borders of France, we have chosen to broaden our horizons in acquiring and creating foreign partnerships. The company is therefore able to work closely with local partners in Belgium, Spain and the United States. Our international expertise, combined with our local partnerships in each country mean that our brands hold a presence across the 5 continents and in 40 countries.
ENVIRONMENTAL PHILANTHROPY BY EKIBIO
Ekibio created a company foundation that has been working since 2008 to raise awareness of dietary choices that respect and protect the environment, health, biodiversity and solidarity between producers and consumers.
Through our environmental philanthropy initiatives, 3 Ekibio brands - Douce Nature, Ecodoo and Bisson (with the ranges Choco Bisson, Coeurs Gourmands, Gingerbread, Vite un Dessert, chocolate covered biscuits and honey) - are members of the global “1% for the Planet” scheme.
